Restore The Wonder is a completely free camp experience created specifically for children who are in foster care or have experienced foster care. For a few unforgettable days, campers get to leave some of life’s heavier things behind and simply have fun.

Adventure. Games. Swimming. Crafts. Incredible food. Birthday celebrations. Gifts. Worship. New experiences. And a whole lot of laughter.

And it costs their family absolutely nothing.

Who Can Attend?

Restore The Wonder serves children ages 6–12 who are currently in foster care or have previously experienced foster care.

Space is limited, and applications are reviewed by our team to make sure Restore The Wonder is an appropriate fit for each child.

One Camper. One Counselor.

One of the things that makes Restore The Wonder so special is our one-to-one counselor model.

Every camper is paired with a trained adult counselor who becomes their biggest cheerleader for the week. They experience camp together—activities, meals, adventures, celebrations, chapel, and everything in between. That means your child isn’t simply one of dozens of kids in a crowd.

Someone is intentionally showing up for them.

All counselors complete an application, interview, background check, and required training before serving. Camp relationships take place within a larger environment designed around supervision, visibility, accountability, and child safety.

A Week for Them. A Little Respite for You.

We believe foster families are the real heroes in this story. You’re the ones showing up every morning. Navigating appointments, transitions, hard conversations, big emotions, school schedules, court dates, and all the everyday moments in between.

Restore The Wonder isn’t here to replace what you do. We’re here to come alongside you.

While your child is having an unforgettable experience with a trained counselor dedicated to them, our hope is that camp also provides your family with a few days of meaningful respite—the opportunity to rest, reconnect, spend intentional time with other children in your home, or simply catch your breath knowing your camper is being cared for and having an incredible time.

For a few days, let us help carry some of the load.

Everybody Deserves a Birthday Party.

One of our favorite moments of camp is our huge birthday celebration. We throw one giant party and celebrate every single camper.There are decorations, games, surprises, and birthday gifts selected especially for each child. Because every kid deserves to hear their name called. Every kid deserves to be celebrated.

And every kid deserves to know their life is worth celebrating.
